A self-taught artist from Teaneck, NJ, Jack Florczyk is best known for his strong use of color and his iconic image of “The Wolf”. Working with various paint mediums Jack aims to embody both creativity and inspiration in his work. “Creativity and inspiration give rise to a lot of questions. Where does creativity originate? Does it come from the same place as inspiration? Or do these words have their own unique origins?” Jack believes that as humans, we have the unique ability to ask questions and then create, inspire, and be inspired. Through his use of color and imagery his work wrestles with these ideas and attempts to give them form. It is Jack’s ultimate desire that his work continue to raise questions, explore new possibilities and new perspectives in the hope of understanding creativity and inspiration.
